Godforsaken Land saw the light basically because I had to prove myself to be still able to write long fiction.
I was recovering from a bad period with regard to writing, I had to recently taken up the pen in hand thanks to the encouragement of nonna_giuly and inspiration that I had come from the TV series Merlin, but I could not get past the oneshot. And I do not like the oneshot. I often go out like that, but the fact remains that the oneshot - or worse yet, the flashfic - does not mean I will be happy indeed, quite the opposite. And so was born Godforsaken Land, by my desire to go back to writing long fiction, to prove to myself to be able to still do.

I decided to set out the context of any particular episode to have more range of motion, and I decided to start from a point that toghether dozens - even hundreds - of other stories: the moment when Arthur discovers the magic of Merlin.

In each chapter are quoted different verses of a song, a song that I chose because I think best expresses the mood of the two protagonists. Like in almost illegal to combine music with my writings, is something that I did very often and that boh ... gives me satisfaction.

This also has three long missing because, unlike the main story, have a very relaxed, bordering on the comical. I do not have much to say about these, sometimes I like to take a little 'fun of my favorite characters.
